"My Dad, Mom and I have been making backyard rinks
for five years although only this one and the last one have been good. It is about 20' by 30' in a
sloped yard.
We used plywood for the outside boards and backstop. The orange construction fence was found in
my friend's garage. Our ice resurfacer is made out of copper piping and dragging a rubber welcome mat
behind works great and gives a perfectly smooth rink every time. For night skating and shot practice
we have a 500 watt floodlight that we bring out."
Nice Ice. Thanks for the pic Adam. |
