Dennis writes: "People around here think I am nuts, until their kids come over, then they love it. Its only 18'x22' built on my paved patio which is shaded by the house in the winter. The key is very thin ice (2" - 4" thick) which freezes solid after only a few nights in the 20s. This is my 3rd year building it. We usually get about 30 skating days per year, usually in a couple of 2 week blocks with a thaw in between. Seeing your site makes me want to move north!" Well done Dennis.
