Here is how Ken built his
rink:
"I used 2x10x12' for the
frame and lined it with a 40'x60' blue tarp. The 2x6x8' were necessary
after flooding because of the level of the yard. The back by the shed is
lower than the front. After filling for about 10 hours, I let it freeze
for four days. Then I built the 2x6's around the 2 sides and back using
angle brackets, mending plates, etc. We waited approx. 7 days before we
started to skate."
"The overall dimension is
36'x48' and the back end is 16" deep and the front is 3-4". It took approx.
4hrs to build with my kids."
