Ken Ingersoll's Backyard Rink
Stoneham, Massachusetts - USA

Here is how Ken built his rink:

"I used 2x10x12' for the frame and lined it with a 40'x60' blue tarp. The 2x6x8' were necessary after flooding because of the level of the yard. The back by the shed is lower than the front. After filling for about 10 hours, I let it freeze for four days. Then I built the 2x6's around the 2 sides and back using angle brackets, mending plates, etc. We waited approx. 7 days before we started to skate."

"The overall dimension is 36'x48' and the back end is 16" deep and the front is 3-4". It took approx. 4hrs to build with my kids."

Good job and thanks for the picture, Ken.
