James writes: "This is my third year for our "Front-yard-Rink-round-the-Plum-Tree". I have been following your site for 3 years now as it was instrumental in helping me and I continue to check this site for updates. Thanks for your work in maintaining this site. We started building the frame on Sunday Nov 21, 2010 and we got to skate Thursday Nov 25. It's a 24x22 rink. It has 6 mil poly with taped and ironed seams. I have 2 sets of 6 inch boards where the poly is sandwiched between the inside and outside set of boards. Works great. We are not a sports family, but both my kids and wife LOVE to skate. So our goal was to have a place where our family and our neighbors can come to hang out, drink some hot chocolate, and skate.
