Joe writes: "This is my first rink, and despite scouring your site for tips and advice, and having a dad who made rinks every year without fail, I had my share of challenges. I had overflows, boards collapse, leaks in the tarp, you name it, but by mid-January it was great. This is my Julian and me (his first time on skates). The rink is 40' x 20' with a white tarp and varying sizes of lumber for the boards. The ice is about 12" in the deep end and about 2" or 3" in the shallow end. Like everyone says, "Great site!""
