Kris writes: "The rink was set up and ready to go at Thanksgiving and then sat for almost 2 months; actually got P.T. on the ice one time in December.....weather was outrageously warm until the week of January 15th. Luckily, Michigan has been well below normal for the last couple weeks so the kids have been having a blast almost everyday since January 17th. I had some grade work done in the late fall and now the maximum depth is only about 7" on one end and thus allowed a much quicker freeze. I never put the end 4' boards up as it looked like it wasn't going to snow/freeze at all this winter. I am sure that somewhat reduce the stress in the neighborhood this year. As always, thank you for keeping up a great site. As you can see from the pics, I can now say that I have skated one time." Nice looking ice Kris. Everyone looks like they are having a ball.
