"This year the garage next to the rink has been converted to our Clubhouse!  Full carpet, full cable T.V., hockey memorobilia on all the walls and heated to keep our toes warm in between shinny games.  The painting was done on Sun. Jan.12/03 when the temp. was -22 C. Yikes, it was a bit chilly!! We have entered it in the Home Depot/ Hockey Night in Canada Contest and hope to do well in that contest as well.  I think the paint job was our best yet and we decided to flood over it and see what will happen once the temps.start to rise. The painted portion may thaw a bit faster than the rest of the ice. I guess we will see! Right now the ice is like glass, hard and smooth !"
