The Wades write: "This is a great site to showcase our rinks. All the effort that goes into producing these rinks is time well spent considering the expressions that you receive from your kids and others that visit. This is a tradition that has carried down from my father. With 6 kids in the family he still had time in his busy schedule to produce a rink each winter, and something which I will continue to do for many years to come. I have been building rinks for the past 4 years. I recently added a "Bubble tent" at the back of the house which is conviently contected to the dryer vent. Its a balmy 70 degrees in the bubble for tying up your skates. Saves on the flooring in the house. I hope you continue to produce this website for many years to come. This site gives us mothers and fathers who produce these rinks each year a chance to showcase our labour of love for the kids. I will be submitting next year with hopefully a larger rink if my wife allows me to knock out a few more trees. See you next year." Great job guys. Thanks for the pics. |
