Ches writes: "This is my 2nd year at making an outdoor rink for my 2 children and despite all the warm weather, with lots of determination I have made it again this year. I started back in the fall by joining my 2 white tarps and constructing the rink, once I had it filled with water and realized that there were no leaks I left it alone, and waited for the cold weather. I painted on some lines, added a banner with the hockey logos on the fence and added the nets. I have a light set up. There is also a board walk that leads to my shed to warm up. It measures 26x36 and I hope that it stays cold." Nice job Ches. If you could build a rink in our area this year, you can make one any year!! Thanks for the pic. |
