Dave writes: "Not much snow yet this year in our part of Minnesota, but cold enough to make ice. This is my first attempt at making a rink. It has a border made of 2x8's and is lined with poly. Boards are made from recycled crates and are 42 inches high on the sides, 44 on the ends. They are reinforced with supports to take "hits". The "warming house" is in the heated garage. The rink is big enough to have my son's supermite team have full 5 on 5 scrimmages. It is also lighted with 2 large lights from a pole on the deck." Great job and thanks for the pic Dave. |
