It was late January before I started to build.  I did not use a liner.  I cleared a spot and started flooding.  The size of the rink is 24 X 56.  Next year I
plan to build bigger (40 X 60).

It was an excellent year in Nova Scotia for building outdoor rinks.  My son Cody thoroughly enjoyed it as it was his first year in hockey.  We skated up to March 19 before the warm weather turned it to slush.
