Dan writes: "This is the first year that I used a liner. I bought a 30' by 60' white tarp at Home Depot. All the rain in December filled it up. We skated on it December 18, the earliest yet. The rink measures 30' by 35'. It is goes from 3" think to 12" thick in the far end. It is the biggest I can go considering the slope of my yard. I secured the tarp to the boards by drilling holes in beer caps and screwing them on so they covered the ring in the tarp. Having the tarp on the inside of the frame, however, has caused it to become beat-up along the edges. Thanks for all the info your website provides." Nice job Dan. Thanks for the pic. |
