"Here's a couple shots of our rink this year.
One shows a picture of my son and his friend flooding the ice on New Years Eve day, with the
"DeardonBoni", named after a good friend who passed it on to me when he was done with it.
That is the best way to flood, I have tried many different ways in my 6 years of rink building.
This being our 6th rink, it is now our biggest measuring 117' X 36'.
This snow base beauty is a full 20 days later than last year due to warm temps. We had it in in
time for a good Christmas and New Years sessions.
The other picture shows some of the boys out there on Boxing Day when the temps. hit about +1C.
They could not resist going shirts and skins.
The cool thing is, I had nothing to do with it, I just happened to look out and there they were
playing with no shirts on.
All the Best, and have a great season."
Nice size rink Ed...lucky boys I would say.
Thanks for the pic. |
