"This is our family rink, we were late this year due to pre-Christmas rainstorms but we managed to have the lines in and everything ready for the first week of January.
 
This year we used the full width of the backyard giving us a 28' by 70' surface. There is quite a slope going away from the house so I'd assume the ice is near 18" at the thickest point.
 
My two boys, Ryan 7 and Aaron 6, have spent countless hours over the past 3 winters refining their skills with the numerous kid from the neighbourhood.
 
The smiles on the kids faces when they come over for the first time is what makes all the effort we put into this project worthwhile."
