- Dec 22 2005 - This December has been one of the coldest I can remember. We had about 3 major snow storms and lots of -10C temps. I didn't trust that the cold temps would stick around and I was wrong. I should have started my rink in Dec this year. Once again, no changes to my rink this year. I will put my boards down (still not painted white) next week and I hope for cold temperatures to return. It is supposed to be pretty mild next week, but I am hoping to get started soon. I have a brand new liner from NiceRink and can't wait to use it.
- Jan 3, 2008 - My rink is started. Opened up my new liner from NiceRink and was I surprised at the quality of this thing. I wasn't expecting such a great liner. It's the "Cheap Skate" version but it's by no means cheap quality. It's white, thick and tough. What a nice product. Initial flood (8 hours) is over and I am waiting for it to freeze. ( -10 C tonight ).
