Ron writes: "Here is my 3rd attempt at backyard rink making. It measures 84x30, has 4 - 500 watt lights, barriers nets at each end and 6x4 goals. It is made with a 40x100 tarp and 2x12's double stacked. The deep end is 14 inches and shallow end is 6 inches. My Nephews, teammates and friends have been skating since Dec 8th (this year) here in Chicago everyday and night, the weather has been really cold. Thanks for a VERY informative website!"
