Steve writes: "Here are photos of my 2005/6 ice rink. The ice surface is about the same as last year (98'x 39'). The season started out pretty well with a nice cold December. However, just about all of January and the beginning of February temperatures were too warm.This has been the most challenging season yet. There has been much maintenance trying to keep surface clean but not much skating. It has again turned colder and I'm hopeful we'll salvage the season with for more favorable ice conditions. I have a carpeted path to the fire pit from the ice but have not yet installed lights or end netting as I did last year. The limited ice time was enjoyed and we were lucky enough to skate Christmas Eve. We had nice sunny and cold weather for an open skate for my kids and their school friends.
